Air Fryer Pork Loin

  • 3.5 pounds pork loin and roast

For souse

  • 1 small onion
  • 1/4 of red bell pepper
  • 1/4 of green bell pepper
  • 10 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tsp of oregano
  • 2 tsp of salt
  • 1 tsp of smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp  of cumin
  • 1 tsp of black pepper
  • oil to taste
  • 1/2 cup of fresh parsley
  • 1 couple of sprigs of fresh rosemary and thyme
  • 1 tbsp of avocado oil
  • 1/2 of a lemon juice

How to make it

First, mix all ingredients for the marinade.

For this recipe, use a three and a half pounds pork loin and roast. With a knife poke holes throughout the pork loin. With your hands rub the marinade all around it and with your fingers stuff each hole with the marinade. Seasoning the pork from the inside out.

Keep in the fridge and marinate for at least four hours or overnight.

 If you don’t know, now you know. Use avocado oil because it does not oxidize in higher temperatures like olive oil, it oxidizes!

Now set the temperature in your air fryer to 250 degrees. Set the timer to two hours and five minutes. Five minutes are of preheating time. The total cooking time is 2 hours. 1 hour per side.

After your air fryer has been preheated, place it into the air fryer basket bone side up. Add the remaining marinade over the top. That’s where all the flavor is.

Air fryer 250 degrees for one hour. After one hour remove it from the air fryer and flip it over.

Continue cooking for another hour or until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees and after two hours let the meat rest at room temperature for at least 20 minutes before digging in.
